Volkswagen has just opened the book on the Passat CC command with the R-line package in Europe. We saw this car at the IAA and really crazy about it. Taking Shape swoopy regular CC and add coupedan R-Line package makes it almost perfect. What stopped being perfect is the fact that the R-Line package adds toughness. Just as Audi S-Line, with special cosmetic changes.
The R-Line package adds an aerodynamic kit, surprisingly modest "Mallory" model of 17-inch wheels, R-Line emblems, smoked taillights, R-Line aluminum sill plates, a unique three-spoke leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, front fog lamps, and the Park Pilot system.
It becomes the R-Line Volkswagen eighth in the lineup and will add € 2200 for the price of DC - about $ 3200 Yankee dollar. Complete press release after the jump and plenty of live and press photos below.
Inside the Passat CC R-Line, Standard features include custom details like four tread aluminum plates (with R-Line logo in front) and a three-spoke leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons. The R-Line package has fog lamps and the Park Pilot system. The Passat R-Line leaves few wishes unfulfilled, even the basic version of the Passat CC include comfort and functionality, such as convenience sports seats and a system of climate control.
The R-Line package is available with all engines Passat CC. Prices start from 2,200 euros for the Passat CC 2.0 TDI (140 hp / 103 kW) with a 6-speed gearbox. Count the versions already introduced in the Golf, Scirocco, Touran, Tiguan, Passat, Passat Variant and Touareg, for a total of eight models with R-Line equipment is now on the market.
